The Big River is a tributary of the Meramec River in east-central Missouri. Major gamefish commonly found in the river include Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Rock Bass, Longear Sunfish, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Flathead Catfish, and Redhorse Suckers.
