Plein Air is the 19th-century style of painting outdoors, or with a strong sense of the open air, that became a central feature of French impressionism “the French style of En Plein Air landscape painting”. Today Plein Air Events are held all over the world. Plein air events are when both professional and local artist get together to compete for prizes and share camaraderie. They can both educate communities on art and showcase the history of the area. We are anticipating 30 artists for our third annual event.
