What is Naturally Meramec?

Welcome to Naturally Meramec! This site exists to form a movement in the Meramec Region in Missouri that works to capture the uniqueness of the region, making it a destination for both travelers and local residents. The Meramec Region consists of the beautiful and vast counties of Crawford, Dent, Gasconade, Maries, Osage, Phelps, Pulaski and Washington.

We capture the uniqueness of the region by promoting local products and services and assisting small agriculture, tourism and culinary businesses through collective marketing efforts, education, training and technical assistance. Together, we can show the world what Meramec has to offer.

Why was this Naturally Meramec created?

The Meramec Region is extremely rich in agriculture, tourism and culinary businesses. However, many of these businesses are small and have difficulty in promoting their vast services and offerings. The businesses and organizations that make the Meramec Region great can highly benefit from a regional effort to promote and market their services and products.

The Naturally Meramec Consortium was created to cut through “silos” formed by typical associations for these businesses and provide a forum in which they can look for ways to collectively market and use each other’s products and services, resulting in increased sales, jobs and overall economy in the Meramec Region.

Our mission is to create a culture of local agriculture, tourism and culinary businesses that will benefit from symbiotic relationships with others in the region to result in growth and prosperity. Collectively, we can all work together to showcase all that the Meramec Region has to offer.
