    ATTENTION CONSORTIUM MEMBERS WHO ARE PLANNING TO SELL PRODUCE AT A FARMERS’ MARKET THIS SUMMER…WITH YOUR MEMBERSHIP, THE FOLLOWING TRAINING AND LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE: Join MU Extension and Naturally Meramec on February 7 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Meramec Regional Planning Commission for the Retail Farm Market School–a program designed for retail farm market vendors that includes basic knowledge in the science of produce and produce marketing. Course content includes: Produce Handling, Produce Quality, Produce Merchandising, Customer Service, Sanitation and Tax and Liability Issues.Cost is $33/person for the program and lunch ($28/person if two or more participate from the same business). The cost for the program and lunch is FREE if you a a member of the Naturally Meramec Consortium.
